Then on Sunday 15 August, Pan Trinbago will be holding its Annual Sport and Family Day at the Trinidad & Tobago Prison Service Recreational Sports and Cultural Complex, Arouca, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

According to committee member Allan Augustus, this programme is an ideal opportunity for steelbands men, women and their families to enjoy a day of fun and games.  Interactive games for both the young and not so young will form part of the day’s activities. The much anticipated event is the inter-region march past and queen competitions.  Live entertainment in the form of steelband and calypso is part of the day’s proceedings. Participants are asked to walk with their food and drink.

Other events on the calendar are the Pan Awards at NAPA, Bad John Day (Talk Show), Youth Day Rally and Steelbands Community Concerts Day.
