The Emancipation Support Committee in collaboration with Pan Trinbago will be hosting two pan events at the
The first is with the youth in mind and will present some of the best young pannists in concert. These include Exocubs, Starlift Juniors, St. Margaret’s Boys’
Later on the same day from 7:30pm the action continues with “Pan Story” featuring Desperadoes, bp Renegades, Neal & Massy Trinidad All Stars, CLICO Sforzata, Arima Golden Symphony, Couva Joylanders and Tripolians.
In addition to the seven (7) favourite steel orchestras there will be other aspects of the culture such as Master Drummer Gerard Hector and the Tamboo Bamboo Specialists.
The traditional Emancipation Street Procession takes place on Sunday 1 August through the streets of the capital
These activities herald the start of Pan Trinbago’s Pan Month in commemoration of the 18th anniversary of the Declaration of the Steelpan as the National Musical Instrument of Trinidad & Tobago
All events are open to pan lovers and the public at large.
