Curepe Scherzando and bp Renegades out front after semis ...

Curepe Scherzando and bp Renegades are the top of the pack in their respective categories at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, yesterday Sunday February 09, 2020.
After a full day of pan sweet pan, the results were announced just before 1:00 am which give the two bands the edge over their rivals.


In the Medium Band category, Curepe Scherzando, performing at number sixteen played the Yohan Popwell arrangement of “My House” to gain 274 points.  Second placing was a three-way tie between Katzenjammers, Siparia Deltones and NGC Couva Joylanders with 272 points.

Bp Renegades romped home in the Large Band category with 283 points, two more than joint rivals, Republic Bank Exodus and Desperadoes.

Ten (10) Medium Bands will move forward to their very own historic  Finals at the Dwight Yorke Stadium Parade Grounds, Tobago, on Sunday February 16, 2020.

Then on Saturday February 22nd, eleven (11) Large Bands will compete in their Finals at Carnival City, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain. Starting time at both events is 7:00 pm

The results are as follows for the finalists in each category:-  (MEDIUM - FIRST 10  BANDS, LARGE - FIRST 11 BANDS)
