Pan Trinbago Forges International Union

On August 04th and 05th, 2015; Pan Trinbago at its International Business Conference, established an alliance with eight (8) of the leading steelpan markets, including North America, the United Kingdom and the Caribbean.

Over the last year Pan Trinbago and the leaders in these markets have deliberated on the following matters:

·         The provision of a framework for co-operation between the national associations of the countries concerned;

·         The establishment of a business model for the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at strengthening the international steelpan community;

·         The formation of an apex international body to facilitate the development and commercialization of the international steelpan market into a dynamic international steelpan industry.

President of Pan Trinbago, Keith Diaz, will lead key members of his Executive team comprising Richard Forteau and Darren Sheppard over the period September 7th to 9th, 2016; at its 2nd International Business Meeting at the Bank of New York (BNY) Mellon, New York, U.S.A.

It is expected at the completion of this three-day meeting; the vehicle for commercializing the international steelpan market into a structured industry will be established.
