Medium and Large Bands Finals on Saturday

Katzenjammers and Desperadoes will play first in their respective categories at the National Panorama Medium & Large Conventional Bands Finals.

The Steelpan premier event takes place on Saturday March 02, 2019 at Carnival City, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain from 6:00 pm. Tickets are on sale at the advertised outlets and are priced at Grand Stand General $400., Grand Stand Reserved $700., Grand Stand Special Reserved $850, and North Park $300. (coolers allowed).

Themed “Posterity In Pan… Catching the Rhythm…. Feeling The Spirit” the Pan Trinbago produced Carnival flagship event has been described as the “Super Bowl of Pan” featuring ten (10) Medium and ten (10 ) Large Conventional Bands each vying for steelpan supremacy.

The bands will be judged by two separate panel of six adjudicators each.

During the event, homage will be paid to Ken”Professor” Philmore, Dr. Winston Bailey aka The Mighty Shadow, and Winston Scarborough also known as D Original De Fosto Himself all deceased.

Patrons can participate by texting for their favourite band in the Pan Trinbago/bmobile People’s Choice.   Patron can also win  door prizes of  two  (2) airline tickets to any Caribbean Airlines destination door prizes courtesy CAL.
