Launch of Pan Month

Launch of Pan Month

Pan Trinbago President Keith Diaz launched Pan Month last Friday at CAL Invaders Pan Theatre to a somewhat small audience.  Diaz used the opportunity at the Northern Region's After Work Lime to welcome folks to the beginning of activities to mark Pan Month. He also gave them an insight to why the organisation celebrates August as pan Month.
Diaz said late Prime Minister Patrick manning declared Pan the national Musical instrument in 1992 and they have celebrated pan month ever since.  He also said in August 1949 the pan association was formed after the warring fractions in the pan movement came together.
Here are some highlights from Friday evening.
