Pan Trinbago extends condolences on the passing of His Excellency Professor George Maxwell Richards

Pan Trinbago, Inc. T.C., the World Governing Body for the Steelpan, its president, executive, staff and members of the entire steelpan fraternity, expresses our sincere condolences and deepest sympathies, to the widow, Dr. Jean Ramjohn-Richards, and children - Mark and Maxine on the passing of the late President of our twin Island Republic, His Excellency Professor George Maxwell Richards, who made his transition from this life on the 8th January 2018.

Pan Trinbago Inc. T.C. will always remember His Excellency as a patron of the arts and culture of Trinidad and Tobago, and one who during his ten years in office, never missed an opportunity to be in the midst of his people celebrating with them their joys in every form of cultural expression.

Etched in the minds of members of the fraternity, is the attendance by His Excellency and Dr. Jean Ramjohn Richards at our Pan on the avenue held on Friday evenings, and his yearly hosting of members of the Steel band fraternity at President’s House after Panorama.

May your family find the strength to carry on, as you Rest in Peace amongst the ancestors.
