Panorama Single Pan Prelims tonite
National Panorama Single Pan Band Competition 2018 kicks off tonight with bands in the North facing the four-man adjudication panel from 7:00 pm.
First off the starting block is reigning Single Pan Champion, Newtown Playboys Steel Symphony. For the competition, they have chosen David Rudder’s “Hammer” arranged by Carlan “Panman” Harewood. Newtown Woodbrook Playboys will be judged at their Woodford Street panyard.
Seven (7) bands out of a total of twenty two (22) North bands will be judged tonight. The remaining bands will go through their paces over a period of two (2) days ie Friday January 05 and Saturday January 06.

Judging of the twenty-two (22) Single Pan Bands continue in the East with the first sixteen (16) bandson Sunday January 07. First band to play in that region is Trinidad East Side Symphony at their panyard, 10th Street, Malick, Barataria from 2:00 pm. The other six (6) will play on Monday January 08 from 7:00 pm.
