Supernovas plays first at the Large Conventional Bands Finals

First Citizens Supernovas will play first at the National Panorama Large Conventional Bands Finals with Massy Trinidad All Stars playing last at number eleven (11).

The Steelpan premier event takes place on Saturday February 22, 2020, at Carnival City, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, from 7:00 pm.


The Pan Trinbago produced Carnival flagship event has been described as the “Super Bowl of Pan” featuring eleven (11) Large Conventional Bands vying for steelpan supremacy, the bp Challenge Trophy and $1,000,000.

Tasked with the responsibility of adjudication are: Lambert Phillip, Michele Dowrich, Richard Pierre, Roger Sardinha, Bernadette Roberts and Tommy Crichlow.

Four (4) persons will be presented with Special Awards for their contribution the development of the steelpan.

Tickets priced at Grand Stand Reserved $750. Grand Stand General $400. Pan City $200 (coolers allowed) are on sale at NLCB outlets nationwide, Ticket Booth at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
