JUNIOR PANORAMA 2019 RESULTS

Guaico Presbyterian Primary School, Naparima Combined and Shell Invaders Youth Steel Orchestras emerged victorious in their respective categories at the recently-concluded National Junior Panorama competition on Sunday at Carnival City, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain.

The competition held under the aegis of The Ministry of Education Multicultural Music Program Unit (MMPU), Pan Trinbago Inc. T.C. and the Pan In Schools Coordinating Council saw a total of 60 junior steel orchestras attached to Primary and Secondary Schools as well as Youth Steel Orchestra across Trinidad & Tobago competing for top honours.

The victorious schools selected “Iron Love”, “No Weapon” and “Madness” respectively as their tunes of choice in the Primary, Secondary Schools and 21 and Under categories. During the competition, awards were presented to Merle Albino-De Coteau, Lennox Ling and Jemma Jordan for their  sterling contribution.

After several hours of exhilarating steelpan music by the young and talented players before their peers in the main, the results were announced. Minister of Education, Hon. Anthony Garcia was on hand to present the trophies to the winners.
