Massy All Stars focus on defending Panorama title

Celebrated steelband arranger Leon “Smooth” Edwards says he can lead Massy Trinidad All Stars to victory in this year’s 55thNational Panorama Competition, conceptualised and produced by Pan Trinbago.

Speaking to Pan Trinbago Media about his strategy to keep the band in top musical form, to secure its eleventh coveted title, Edwards described the process to ensure Trinidad All Stars retains the title as “a piece of cake.”

The band will appear in position number four at Saturday’s season finale of the competition in the large conventional category, playing Edwards’ arrangement of Lightning Flash composed by Ultimate Reject and sung by MX Prime.

Trinidad All Stars placed seventh in the preliminary round with 259 points. The band climbed three places to fourth in when results following the semi-final round held at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain, were published.
