CARNIVAL LANGIAPPE - Carnival 2020 come back again!

Carnival 2020 come back again as Pan Trinbago Inc. stages its annual post Carnival event, “Langniappe… A Night With The Champs” on Saturday February 29, 2020, at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, at 8: 00 pm

“Carnival Langiappe” relives the memories through its production “a night with the champs.” 

The post-Carnival revue features some of the finest exponents of pan, mas, calypso and more on “de stage” in final blaze of glory giving the public another chance to savor all that was Carnival 2020.

Headline acts include the National Panorama Single, Small, Medium & Large Conventional winners ie San Juan East Side Symphony & Marsicans, Uptown Fascinators, NGC Couva Joylanders and Desperadoes with the 21 & Under Steel Orchestra winners, Massy Trinidad All Stars Youths Steel Orchestra. Massy T’dad All Stars will make a guest appearance.

The public can savor the splendor and glory of the Mas with the 2020 winners including the Junior and Senior Kings and Queens of Carnival, the Junior Band of the Year (large).

Also gracing the Savannah stage are Junior Calypso Monarch, Sharissa Camejo, Sekel McIntosh and Addelon”Braveboy”. National Calypso Monarch Terri Lyons will also be in attendance as well ex-tempo bards Brian London and Winston “Gypsy” Peters. 

Adding flavor to the mix is the Prison Service Band, crowd favourite at the recently- concluded Brass Bacchanal and winner Temperature.

In addition to the above, the audience will be entertained by some of the big names in the business such as the Chutney Monarch Imran GI Beharry.  Power Soca and Road March Monarch Neil Iwer George will complete the post carnival experience.

 “Lagniappe….. A Night With The Champions”, originally Champs in Concert, has been a fixture in the Carnival calendar since 1980, providing a fitting end to the annual celebrations.  

Admission is $200.  Tickets are on sale at NLCB Ticket Outlets nationwide, NCC Head Office and the Grand Stand Ticket Booth.
